1. Update National Port Masterplan Improved cargo handling and transport of cargo within and between all TPA ports.
2. Supervision Berth 1-7 & RoRo Ensure compliance of design and execution of 1.1.1 as per contract agreement.
3. ESIA Study Dredging Prepare binding HSE guidelines for design and execution of dredging works 1.1.2.
4. Supervision Dredging Ensure compliance of design and execution of 1.1.2 as per contract agreement.
5. Supervision Berth 8-11 Ensure compliance of design and execution of 1.1.3 as per contract agreement.
6. Supervision Rail Terminals Ensure compliance of design and execution of 1.1.4 as per contract agreement.
7. Technical Assist. to Implement.  Technical assistance port engineering and port project management.
8. Procurement Assistant Transfer of expertise to uplift TPA staff to work according International Standards.
9. Capacity building / training  Increase of expertise of all TPA staff with regard to port upgrade as per DMGP.
10. Institutional strengthening TPA Sound organisation structure, procedures and resources ensuring TPA economic success.
11. Independent technical auditor Ensure compliance of performance of projects monitoring of DMGP success.

Sn. Sub Project Project Goal
1. Deepening and Strengthening Berths 1-7 and  RoRo Terminal. Larger vessels, higher berth load bearing, more effective operations, additional space.
2. Dredging Entrance Channel, Harbour Basin,Turning Circle. Post panamax vessels with deepest draft to be able to enter in the port.
3. Deepening and Strengthening Berths 8-11. Larger vessels, higher berth load bearing, more effective operations, additional space.
4. Improvement Rail Linkages and Rail Terminals. Optimised linkage of TRC  and standard gauge and TAZARA railway to DSM Port.
